ANA CONGRATULATES DR. BAMIDELE KOGBE ON HIS BIRTHDAY

The Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA) has congratulated Dr. Oluwabamidele (Dele) Ibrahim Kogbe on the occasion of his birthday, describing him as an exemplary public servant, distinguished scholar, accomplished writer, and committed advocate of national development.
The association praised his outstanding contributions to public service, scholarship, and literature, noting that his achievements continue to inspire many Nigerians.
ANA noted that Dr. Kogbe has distinguished himself as one of Nigeria’s most accomplished public sector professionals. He gained national recognition in 2025 when he won the prestigious Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (HCSF) EPIC Award, which celebrates civil servants who exemplify efficiency, productivity, integrity, and citizen-centered service. He was also named his Ministry’s Staff of the Year in recognition of his exceptional contributions to service delivery and institutional development.
The association further commended Dr. Kogbe’s commitment to workforce development and public sector reform. Through various training and capacity-building programmes, he has empowered more than 10,000 civil servants across 22 Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs), promoting accountability, ethical conduct, and improved performance within the Nigerian public service.
ANA described his efforts as a significant contribution to national growth and institutional excellence.
Highlighting his academic accomplishments, ANA observed that Dr. Kogbe holds a Ph.D. in Politics and International Relations from the University of Dundee, where he researched civil society regionalism and peacebuilding in Africa. He also earned a Master's degree in Diplomacy, Law and Global Security and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Public Administration of Nigeria. His academic and professional credentials have earned him widespread respect in the fields of governance and public administration.
Beyond his official responsibilities, ANA acknowledged Dr. Kogbe’s influence as a public advocate and thought leader.
Through initiatives such as the Inspire EPIC Service Awareness Tours, he has consistently encouraged civil servants across Nigeria to embrace excellence, integrity, and citizen-centered service.
The association noted that his advocacy continues to inspire ethical leadership and positive transformation in the public sector.
The Association of Nigerian Authors also celebrated Dr. Kogbe’s contributions to literature as an active member of ANA and a versatile creative writer. His published works include The Girl Who Dares the King, a widely acclaimed play; The Gods Had Gone to Sleep, a compelling novel exploring themes of power and governance; and a number of poems that reflect cultural and socio-political realities.
ANA wished him a happy birthday and many more years of impactful service, academic excellence, literary creativity, and national development.
